Third, if the large molars can successfully resist being pulled forward, then the weaker front teeth will be pulled backward towards the tongue - creating a flatter face and profile at the conclusion of treatment. Again, the biting (chewing) forces will continue to tip the front teeth backwards over time.
So what may appear to be a satisfactory, mature profile at the conclusion of treatment, could result in "premature ageing" of the face by becoming more concave over time!
